Telford-based ALS\nContracts has taken delivery of its sixth and seventh Wiedenmann Terra Spikes.\nTwo new extra deep XD machines have joined their previous fleet of five XDs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Increasingly ALS\nContracts has been offering an \u201call fairways in one day\u201d package to golf clubs\nacross the UK. Interest has been favourable because of convenience and\nefficient results. Repeat bookings have prompted ALS to expand their\nnumber of machines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dave Harvey,\nContracts Manager at ALS Contracts<\/p>\n\n\n\n
says when it comes\nto deep aeration, his customers expect all round excellence. Accordingly,\nhe has committed to the best machines for task which he believes to be the\nWiedenmann Terra Spike XD, built to either a 1.6 m or 2.1 m working width.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said: \u201cWe now\nhave 6 x XD6s and 1 x XD8; when all 7 machines are working we can cover a width\nof 11.7 m in just one pass, this gives us the capability to aerate and\ndecompact up to 22 hectares per day with a continuous 125 mm x 125 mm square\npattern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
