The Terra Core 8, a high-performance shallow aerator for golf greens, tees, fairways and sports fields, has been launched by Wiedenmann UK. Designed to work precisely in the top 100 mm of the profile, it delivers fast, accurate hollow coring or solid-tine aeration to improve air movement, drainage and root development while preserving play quality.

The Terra Core 8 combines proven Wiedenmann engineering with modern refinements. Its adjustable twin-crank system allows precise depth control in 4 mm increments, enabling operators to match settings to site conditions quickly and accurately.

Central to the new model is Wiedenmann’s VibraStop damping system, a long-established feature across the range that isolates vibration and shock before they reach the operator or tractor. The result is smoother, quieter operation with reduced strain and wear on both machine and driver.

A revised lateral gearbox layout supports smooth operation, while the compact, balanced driveline arrangement contributes to stable performance and straightforward handling across a wide choice of tractors.

With a 1.95 m working width, the Terra Core 8 achieves up to 816 holes per m² using seven tines per holder at 35 mm spacing. The full working width extends beyond the tractor’s wheel marks, ensuring an even finish with minimal overlap.

Solid and hollow tines are available in diameters from 7 to 20 mm, and tine carriers can be swapped quickly with just two screws to minimise downtime. A wide-opening hood and optional turf retainer further support easy servicing and turf protection.

Offering up to 4,282 m²/hour at 2.2 km/h and 540 rpm, the Terra Core 8 combines productivity, precision, and operator comfort in one refined shallow-aeration solution. For demonstrations, contact your local Wiedenmann UK dealer.
